LEGOLAND Water Park!
Birthday boy gamely took a pic with the LEGOFIG on his own!
DUPLO Splash Safari. Probably the most favourite spot of the water park for the birthday boy!
The cub was a little nervous when we made them wear the life jackets. He was worried we would bring him for some rides that are out of his comfort zone. I can only say, he knows his parents pretty well. 🙂
Red Rush. A family tube slide where up to six people can ride together down a 312-foot-long curving track on an 11-foot in diameter half pipe. The cub wanted to chicken out of the ride but we kept persuading him and he finally allowed his dad to bring him up. Helped that his cousin, aunt and uncle took the ride together with him. The lil’ dragonlady didn’t meet the requirements, so Mommy here could avoid some thrill rides with her for now.
The cub was smiling when he came down but only started talking cheerfully after coming out of the float. Ha!
Times like these, I really wish I had a water-resistant camera so that I can join the kids for the water play!
LEGO Wave Pool. It took some convincing before the cub was willing to move further into the waters even with his life jacket while my lil’ dragonlady was swimming (well, trying to!) along the waves.
Joker Soaker. This soaker playground is no joke. There are staff around to get you wet, there are water coming down from somewhere every now and then. There’s no escape – SURE WET!
Build-a-raft. We ended our play at the water park here as the cub sat comfortably on a float and went along with the flow of the water, absorbing the sights of the park.
If you don’t have a water-resistant camera or a camera with you at the water park, fret not! Look around for LEGOLAND photographers to help you take pictures. The photos are chargeable of course, but at least you get to keep some memories on print. They do take some candid shots as well, so be sure to check if there are any that you would like them to develop for you.
