Playtime with Daddy

May 14, 2014 in Uncategorized

Weekends and public holidays are definitely more fun when Daddy is around!

The kids got to test drive their new scooters early in the morning after breakfast at Food for Thought.

Weather was unbearable but the kids had fun nonetheless!

Post-nap, we made our way to Playtime! at Esplanade.

We have been going to Playtime! performances since early last year and both kids have grown to enjoy the performances albeit still shy to participate when there’s a chance to. When the cub started sharing randomly what he learned from the Playtime! performances to daily stuff he encounters, I was so happy to know that they were learning as they watched. Never waste my money!

The husb got a taste of how challenging his toddlers can be when they decide to throw tantrums at the same time for prolonged duration (from dinner and throughout the car ride home! ). It was extremely annoying and I told him to just zone out and let them cry all they want. Ha! Feels good to have a partner in such situations. Am not looking forward to the time when he has to resume his crazy work travel schedule again.

notice how the one on the right hardly moved throughout when the pics were taken

Our ears were finally spared from the incessant whining and crying when they finally settled down for bedtime. I gotta say, I’m REALLY glad my work is not as physically exhausting as my role as a mother.

I know what you mean. I get so drained out by evening on weekends too. But then again, I rather spend more time with Sophie anytime.

The pictures where Thad looks the same were hilarious! It seems like a wonderful day and I had been meaning to try out breakfast at Food For Thought for a long time! Is it good? And don’t worry about the fatigue…it can only get better!
