Happy Teacher’s Day!

September 6, 2013 in Uncategorized

It’s my first time preparing gifts for teachers as a parent this year! I was strangely excited and started thinking of ideas quite some time ago. I knew I won’t have much time to DIY gifts, and the cub ain’t going to help me on that at this age. Hence I thought movie vouchers would be best.

It’s my style of giving – practical things that people can use! Plus the teachers totally deserve a treat for making school enjoyable for my cub. It’s not easy handling one toddler and they have to handle a class of them every day. Not only do they have to teach, they have to help with the feeding and cleaning of poopy bums as well! RESPECT.

It didn’t seem nice just giving away the vouchers, hence I squeezed some time out to DIY the notes of appreciation for the teachers who helped to give my son a pretty good impression of his first brush with education.

So glad to know that the teachers do love the presents!

I’m sure the teachers appreciate practical gifts and thoughtful cards more than knick-knacks 🙂

Love the cards and how you used the pencil-bag as the envelope 🙂
Agree with practical gifting – there’s a limit to how many knick-knack gifts a teacher can utilize. Will keep your movie voucher idea for future use!
